TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. This information on how to enter the competition form part of the conditions of entry.  Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these conditions.

2. The promoter is Ziplines New Zealand Ltd, 11 West End, Kaikōura 7300, New Zealand.
3. To enter, individuals submit their ideas to name one of the ziplines at EcoZip Adventures new Kaikōura site by completing the online entry form. (create a direct URL link to the entry form page)
4. There is no limit to the number of entries permitted per person, but we do ask nothing rude or offensive, please. All mandatory details on the entry form must be completed. Incomplete entries will not be eligible.
5. Entry is open to New Zealand residents only who are currently residing in New Zealand. Employees, (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or of the other agencies or companies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.
6. First prize is a lifetime zipline pass to EcoZip Adventures Kaikōura for one person. Transport to and from Kaikōura and any other travel associated costs are not included in the pass. To use the pass, bookings must be made by phone directly through EcoZip Kaikōura homebase. The pass is for the prize winners exclusive use and cannot transferable. Booking is subject to availability and seasonal close-out periods may apply. The pass is valid for as long as Ziplines New Zealand Ltd are the owner and operator of EcoZip Kaikōura.
   1. The winner will also be invited to the official opening of the Kaikōura site on 9 December 2023 for the ribbon cutting ceremony on the zipline they have named.
   2. If the winner is not available for the 9 December 2023 opening date, they have 3 months from that date to use the ribbon cutting ceremony travel package otherwise this part of the prize is considered forfeited.
   3. If the winner lives in the South Island within a 250km radius of Kaikōura, a fuel contribution will be given by way of fuel vouchers for a direct return trip; if they live in the North Island or further than 250km’s from Kaikōura, they will be flown to Christchurch airport from their nearest domestic airport by standard commercial airline on a standard seat & bag airfare.
   4. If flown, a Go-Rentals mid-size hire car will be provided for self-drive to Kaikōura for 2 days. If the prize winner is under 18 years old or does not have a full license, they must bring a fully licensed driver with them to drive.
   5. Overnight accommodation will be provided for 1 night at Sudima Hotel, Kaikōura in a standard twin share room.
   6. The first prize winner will be permitted to bring 1 (one) other person with them for the opening ribbon cutting ceremony and is included in the travel package outlined above.
   7. If the first prize winner is under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must accompany them for the ribbon cutting ceremony package.
7. Second and Third consolation prize winners will be given a 1 x double pass to EcoZip Adventures Kaikōura. Passes have an expiry date of 2 years from date of issue. Travel to and from Kaikōura and any subsequent costs are at the prize winner’s own expense.
8. If there are multiple same, variants of or similar name entries from separate entrants, the name and/or variants and similar names will be chosen from a draw.
9. The competition commences at 9.00am on Tuesday 24 October 2023 and closes on Friday 24 November 2023 at 9.00pm. EcoZip Adventures reserves the right to extend the competition should the location opening date change. Entries received after this time will not be included in the competition.
10. The winner will be chosen by the Kaikōura EcoZip Team.
11. The winner and consolation prize winners will be announced on Monday 27 November 2023 and notified by telephone and email on the same day.
12. The winner must meet the eligibility criteria to zip. There is no age limit, but participants under 18-years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian properly authorised to agree to our Booking Terms and sign our Risk Disclosure Form on the minor’s behalf. WEIGHT LIMITS: To participate in the EcoZip experience you need to weigh at least 30kg (66lbs) but not more than 125kg (275lbs).
13. The judge’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
15. All entries become the property of the promoter. The promoter collects the personal information on the entry form provided by entrants in the competition for the purpose of the competition.
16. By entering the competition and accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed, and photographed, filmed to be used for publicity purposes.
