Ziplining, Wining and Dining

For either the Zip, Wine & Dine or our Premium Wine tours, your EcoZip guide will be waiting for you at Waiheke's Matiatia ferry terminal at 8.45am, as you exit the 8.10am (midweek) or 8.00am (weekend) Fullers ferry from downtown Auckland.

Alternatively if you're already on Waiheke Island rendezvous with our shuttle in the  bus stop opposite the Red Cross building in Oneroa Village at 8.55am and travel by comfortable minibus to our base located on scenic Trig Hill. You will arrive in time for our 9.15am flying-fox zipline and native forest experience.

Option 1 - Zip, Wine & Dine $264 per person (Max 36 guests)

EcoZip and Fullers Ferries have combined to bring you the very best of beautiful Waiheke Island in a single, relaxing day, including:

  • Scenic ferry transfers from Auckland to Waiheke Island
  • EcoZip Adventures fabulous flying-fox zipline and native forest walk experience
  • Wine tasting and lunch at trendy Stonyridge Vineyard
  • Olive oil tasting at pretty Rangihoua Estate
  • A taste of the Mediterranean at enchanting Casita Miro Vineyard
  • Wine tasting at picturesque Mudbrick Vineyard
  • Complimentary all-day travel card

Your Zip, Wine & Dine experience starts as soon as you board your Fullers ferry for a scenic cruise through the sparkling waters of the Hauraki Gulf en route to Waiheke Island. On arrival an EcoZip team member will deliver you to EcoZip HQ, perched high on a hillside overlooking the islands' myriad coves, pretty bays and vineyards.

In the company of our expert guides you'll the enjoy riding our three giant flying-fox ziplines, giving you a complete unique perspective on an island that Lonely Planet recently described as 'the playground of the Gods'.  Later you'll enjoy a magical guided walk through a lush tract of centuries-old native NZ forest.

Waiheke is famous for its wine and gastronomic delights so after an exciting morning you'll be ready for lunch at the multi-award-winning Stonyridge Vineyard. Here you'll enjoy a tour of the beautiful winery, wine tasting and a delicious light lunch before you depart for Rangihoua Estate; home to another Waiheke staple - olive oil. A scenic detour via the 2km-long, golden Onetangi beach leads to Casita Miro - a stop where you'll be enchanted with the tastes and flavours of the Mediterranean.  The final stop on your itinerary, for wine tasting, is at stunning Mudbrick Vineyard; famed as much for its dazzling gardens and spectacular views as its sumptious wines.

Later you'll be delivered, replete, to the island's ferry terminal for the journey home. Alternatively you can choose to linger on the island as your tour includes an all-day travel card, allowing you to continue exploring Waiheke's delights long in to the evening.

PRICE = $264 (inclusive of ferry ticket)
