    Waiheke Deluxe

The perfect wine & adventure combo

Your Waiheke Deluxe experience starts as soon as you board your Fullers ferry for a scenic cruise across the sparkling Hauraki Gulf to Waiheke Island. On arrival, we’ll be waiting for you on the quayside, before we transfer you to EcoZip HQ, perched high on a hillside overlooking the island’s myriad coves, pretty bays and vineyards.

Accompanied by our expert guides, you’ll fly through the air on our giant flying-fox ziplines, before undertaking a magical guided walk through a lush expanse of centuries-old native NZ forest.

Waiheke is famous for its food, wine, beaches and stunning views.  After an exciting morning ziplining, we’ll drop you to award-winning beachside restaurant Three Seven Two for lunch with our friends from Waiheke Wine Tours. From there, they will take you for a scenic exploration of Waiheke, introducing you to some of the island’s most famous, and most charming, vineyards.

First up is wine sampling at Postage Stamp – Waiheke’s newest rustic boutique winery set in a quaint little backyard oasis with views of their vineyard, chapel, and olive grove. From there, it’s on to beautiful award-winning Stonyridge Vineyard which enjoys global acclaim for its spectacular Bordeaux-style wines and their signature Larose can command a price of thousands of dollars per bottle.

Finally, your Waiheke Wine Tours guide will deliver you to the ferry terminal for your journey back to Auckland on the 4.00pm ferry, or why not hop out in Oneroa village to linger on the island, perhaps enjoying an early dinner or drinks.

  • We had not been on a zip wire before this trip. EcoZip staff were very welcoming and very professional.

We were well prepared for the zip wires and our guides did a great job making sure we were all set before each run. The walk back to the centre with some information about the local flora and fauna was a great addition. We would thoroughly recommend EcoZip.
